…is fully attached to the sill plate at the top of the basement wall. ✓
…is NOT bowing more than 3″ out of plum. ✓
…is NOT a wall opposite of a walk-out basement wall (wall not supported by soil on the outside) – applicable for perpendicular braces only. ✓
…is NOT a “knee-high”/less than 3 foot wall. ✓
…is NOT crumbling, leaking and floor joists are NOT rotting or soft. ✓
Ooops – I can’t agree. One of those situations describes the wall I wanted to brace…
